A Journey to get Best Selfies

«We spend most of our time in the big city. It’s not often that we get outdoors. Sometimes we walk in the city parks or go to the suburbs. We’ve always dreamed of going to Taganay for a real hike, as we’ve often heard how much our friends admire this place. However, we realized long-distance hiking is not for us, but we could go there for one day and see the mountain range and other natural landmarks. It turned out to be a great idea. And we managed to fit it all in one day. Awesome! I’m sure we’ll remember this great day for a long time».

The Capital of Ural Street Art

«Satka has become a platform for artists from all over the world. People come here from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Spain. Now it is a town of bright colours! For example, the juicy-orange neighbourhood, the new house on Metallurgov Street with an original Ural Mountains design or the western part of town featuring numerous murals. This is what the new town of Satka looks like. I love taking photos around here».

Weapons crafting Traditions

«Little has changed in gunsmithing over the past two centuries, only mercury gilding and cinnabar were replaced with safer modern materials. Before starting a new work, craftsmen study the history and prototypes of weapons, draw sketches of a sample, make drawings and only then give it to a blacksmith-metalworker. The resulting product is polished and sent to artists for decoration».
